 International Women's Day - Conferece

International Women's Day has been observed since in the early 1900's, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialised world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.

Annually on 8 March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements.

ASAUK will be holding this conference in the honour of this special day to celebrate the achievement of the Afghan women in and outside Afghanistan. The event will highlight the role of women in the Afghan society, their struggles, accomplishments and their inspiration.

The event will include speakers to talk on different issues, a documentary film about women in Afghanistan and an open discussion session.
